i went home to houston....

and had myself a lil fashion shoot!

i actually went home over spring break to shoot my portrait project and what is becoming my thesis. i was working on a video documentary on new orleans debutantes but lo and behold, one william eggleston show at the whitney and i've realized that i want to photograph the south. i've actually know that i've wanted to do that for a while but it took seeing his (eggleston's) photographs to realize that is what i want to do. i am still working on my documentary but i dont really want my senior show to be that. i'll finish that for another class next semester i reckon.

anywho.

This is so cool! The outfits are all really lovely. I would love to get my hands on a medium format camera. The results here are gorgeous, especially the 2nd picture.

Whoops, I meant 3rd picture, but I really like the 2nd, too.

Thanks for the tip on the Rachel Comey collection. I've liked her past collections, but for some reason hadn't looked at that one yet. It's really cool!
